Helical gear die design example

 

The products below are plastic parts of helical gear, how to make the correct structure of the mold?

 

 

Idea: It is not practical for this product to make sliders. The helical gear requires high precision. When making sliders, there will be clamps and many small sliders will be produced, so the cost is relatively high! We can try to do a rotary ejection mechanism, spinning while ejecting. Next we will explain it in detail!

 

1. Mold feeding point method: adopt the three-point feeding method of fine water nozzle, as shown in the figure below.

 

2. The back die of the mold is made of circular inserts, and the bottom is all cut out to make it smooth, which is convenient for linear cutting of the bevel teeth, as shown in the figure below.

 

3. The blue insert is fitted with two ball bearings to make the blue insert rotatable, as shown below.

 

4.Ejector system: a cylinder needle is added in the middle of the product to ejector out. The cylinder needle is impinged with the front die, and a pressure plate is used to press the cylinder needle, as shown in the figure below:
